Certified Veteran Caregiver Specialist Trainer (CVCS-T)

Certified Veteran Caregiver Specialist Trainer (CVCS-T) provided by
Valor Education and Training Corporate Trainer.
This certification is offered to Veterans and healthcare professionals with experience in educating, in-servicing, and teaching.
You can teach additional training once you are a Certified Veteran Caregiver Specialist Trainer (CVCS-T). There will be a fee for materials for each additional training. Each fee may vary depending on the training and resources given.
Eight-hour training, excluding breaks and lunch.
Topics include but are not limited to Military Branches, Military Conflicts and Wars, Military Cultural and Communication, Veteran Trauma, Illnesses and Exposures, LGBTQIA+, and Activities and Recreational programming.
Additionally, you will be trained on presenting the information, how to get started, education regarding the healthcare continuum, marketing ideas, and getting CEUs for your training.
Resource guides will be provided.
Upon completing the training and paperwork required, the person shall receive Certification for Certified Veteran Caregiver Specialist Trainer (CVCS-T) and Certified Veteran Caregiver Specialist (CVCS).
Application for Certified Veteran Caregiver Specialist Trainer CVCS-T

This certification is valid only in the United States of America.

Application must be submitted with the required documentation and information requested. Applications are reviewed, and if accepted, must attend the required training. The 8-hour training includes receiving the Certified Veterans Caregiver Specialist Trainer and Certified Veteran Caregiver Specialist certifications.
Please include the payment of $2500.00 per Individual Certification. If you are a Veteran, please call to learn about special rates.
Please send a check/money order or complete the credit card information if sending an application by mail or fax.
If your application is not approved for CVCS-T, payment will be returned, or if paying by credit card, your payment will not be processed.
After the application is approved, you will be instructed on additional information that is needed to fulfill the requirements for becoming a CVCS-T.
Requirements: Must be submitted with the application.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • If you have a GED or High School diploma, you must have at least five years of experience in a healthcare-related position or military background. For healthcare-related experience, you must include a letter from your supervisor, including work responsibilities and experience with Veterans.
  • If you have a College Degree or Certification/License, please include a copy of the degree/certification or professional listing on your state registry that you are in good standing.
  • Resume including all healthcare-related positions.
  • Must include proof of instruction, in-services, or training related to health care or veteran topics.
  • Veteran, please include your Military DD-214.
  • Must attend the 8-hour required Certified Veteran Caregiver Specialist Trainer (VCS-T) Training.
